[Haskell-cafe] Why cannot ghc find a existng module ?

It seems that it is not a xmonad problem as xmond just call ghc directly.

%cd ~/.xmonad
%ghc --make xmonad.hs    

xmonad.hs:20:7:
    Could not find module `XMonad.Layout.LayoutHints':
      Use -v to see a list of the files searched for.
