   #! /bin/sh
   ./prog --RTS ${1+"$@"}

The longer specification above should work with whatever /bin/sh is  
around, whether it's Solaris /sbin/sh, FreeBSD's sh, general Linux  
bash, Debian/Ubuntu dash, etc.
