[Haskell-cafe] What is the meaning of tilde ("~") symbol

Ah, nice. It seems somebody else has already thought of this.

Also, I read this page and discovered something new within about 30 
seconds. (Pattern guards...)

Hmm, pitty. As I commented, documentation isn't much help if nobody
