I found a  ghc-6.13.20100108  snapshot somewhere on my hard disk
and this seems to contain a working dph-par.

At least I get some noticeable speedups in some of the benchmarks
(didn't try them all, for lack of time).

Perhaps the dph team could provide a (pointer to a ) "recommended snapshot"
(with a dph that is known to work) on their web page.
