Hi,

please upgrade to the latest version - 1.2.2 - of the com package for
this example,

   http://hackage.haskell.org/cgi-bin/hackage-scripts/package/com

There's been some improvements to the lib, esp. the handling of enumerations
(which is where that type error is coming from.)
