Yes, that's what I expected.  Well, getting a nice Linux base system is
important and maybe maintaining the Haskell platform manually might not
be too much work.  I'd still like to avoid it if possible, so I'm open
for suggestions :-)

Haskell is an even 'redder' pill than Lisp or Scheme.
