this compiler does not work with your gcc. if you cannot install
http://www.haskell.org/ghc/dist/6.8.2/ghc-6.8.2-i386-unknown-linux.tar.bz2
you'll have to try an older version.

Maybe it helps, if your remove this option from your file
<prefix>/lib/ghc-6.8.2/extra-gcc-opts
