Increased memory usage with GHC 7.10.1

Hello, I succeded in compiling
https://hackage.haskell.org/package/OpenGLRaw-2.4.1.0/docs/src/Graphics-Rendering-OpenGL-Raw-Functions.html
on a 32 bit machine with 2GB of memory with ghc 7.10.1. O_O
