emacs "hangs" in haskell mode

yeah, the mode needs to be updated. edit your haskell-ghci.el file ,
namely the line which begins "(setq comint-prompt-regexp" to:
(setq comint-prompt-regexp "^[\*_a-zA-Z0-9\. ]*>")
The problem is that ghc changed a bit what it outputs.
