 Coming from [here](https://github.com/haskell/cabal/issues/1173).

 I installed GHC-7.6.1 from the binary package, on my CentOS 6 webspace.
 Then I wanted to install `cabal-install`, but the compilation failed at
 the `text` package without a message.

 They told me it is an error with GHC, so I try to submit here.
