 Hi,

 as Debian cannot upgrade to ghc 7.4.2 at this stage
 (http://lists.debian.org/debian-haskell/2012/06/msg00038.html) we need to
 backport the fix to 7.4.1. If it is not the patch from #5900, what else is
 it?
