 Dear all,

 Trying to compile the release candidate for ghc-7.4.2 on a raspberry pi
 running archlinux I get the following error when calling `./configure`:

 /usr/bin/ld:
 /usr/lib/ghc-6.12.3/unix-2.4.0.2/libHSunix-2.4.0.2.a(Semaphore.o):
 undefined reference to symbol 'sem_post@@GLIBC_2.4'

 I have attached the full output of ./configure and config.log

 The raspberry pi has an ARM11 processor. A faq can be found here:

 I believe ticket #3178 could be related, but the discussion there didn't
 help me.

 I hope reporting this here in this way is appropriate, otherwise please
 let me know, this is my first bug report for ghc.
