Comment:

 I'm unfamiliar with OS X, but I tried this under Linux with GHCi 7.0.4.
 Here's what I get:

 {{{
 $ ghci
 GHCi, version 7.0.4: http://www.haskell.org/ghc/  :? for help
 Loading package ghc-prim ... linking ... done.
 Loading package integer-gmp ... linking ... done.

 Loading package text-0.11.1.1 ... linking ... done.
 Loading package double-conversion-0.2.0.0 ... linking ... done.
 "Floating point exception (core dumped)
 }}}

 Possibly this error comes from ticket #3333 (which I should work on!).

 The "can't load..." on OS X possibly can be fixed by code similar to what
 I put in ticket #2615, since it looks like the linker scripts on OS X are
 similar. In fact, I was thinking of proposing a patch to dlopen upstream
 so all languages can benefit from this (but that's another story).
