 Yes.  I was instructed to file a bug about it, because the patch seems to
 have been committed, and was backported in Gentoo.  Vanilla 6.12.3 doesn't
 have this issue, of course, as it doesn't have the patch.

 Sorry for not being clear here.  (I have 6.12.3 compiled here.)
