 It seems that adding ${HOME}/data/lib to the DEP_LIB_DIRS variable in the
 package-data.mk files allows the build to continue. I'm not familiar with
 the GHC build system, but it seems that this should be where the --with-
 gmp-libraries option passed to the configure script should finally end up.
