 I can't reproduce the problem in the ticket description with the HEAD. I
 get:
 {{{
 q.exe: RemoveDirectory "foo": permission denied (The process cannot access
 the file because it is being used by another process.)
 q.exe: thread blocked indefinitely in an MVar operation
 }}}
 which seems reasonable if the other thread is getting a directory listing
 for doing a recursive remove.
