Comment:

 OK, I've taken a look at this, and it looks like the problem is with your
 bootstrapping compiler. I think the bootstrapping compiler's
 `package.conf` will say that some package, probably `rts`, needs the `gmp`
 library, but doesn't give the library path for where to find it.
