 Ian points out that it's the `waitForProcess` that is the problem. That is
 the thing that blocks the whole process, when we're using the single
 threaded rts.

 We conjecture this code is impossible to write correctly using
 runInteractiveProcess and the single threaded rts. It may be possible
 using the newer createProcess function.
