Comment:

 There is a possibly similar problem with GHC 6.8.0.20070926 (i386-unknown-
 mingw32).  The code in the attachment {{{TypeEq.hs}}} causes the
 impossible to happen with the error message {{{initC: srt_lbl}}}.
