make binary-dist for ghc-6.6.1 shows latex error

When making a binary distribution from the official ghc-6.6.1 sources, I
 get the latex error below for core.tex. I have to skip this error by
typing ^D (EOF) explicitly. (I did not find out how to fix this error on
line 528 of core.tex, though)

The final documentation lacks a core.ps file. But such a file is also
missing in:
http://www.haskell.org/ghc/dist/6.6.1/ghc-6.6.1-i386-unknown-linux.tar.bz2

What should happen with core.tex?
