The GHC Windows installer does not include the GHC version number in the application name (the application name is just "GHC" or "Glasgow Haskell Compiler"). This makes managing side-by-side installations in Add/Remove Programs tedious, because e.g. you don't know which version you are about to remove. Dominic Cooney
