Can't find files in 4.08.1

Hi,
I just ran the Windows installer for ghc-4.08.1, and tried to compile a
simple test like so:
bash-2.04$ cat > main.hs
module Main(main) where
main = putStrLn "Hello, world!"
bash-2.04$ ghc -o main main.hs
gcc: g:/apps/ghc/ghc-4.08.1/lib/Main.dll_o: No such file or directory
gcc: g:/apps/ghc/ghc-4.08.1/lib/PrelMain.dll_o: No such file or directory
I searched, and those two files weren't installed anywhere on my system.
Should they have been? I'm assuming that the installer installed what
should have been a working system, except for the cygwin libraries, which I
already had installed.
Where should I get PrelMain.dll_o and Main.dll_o, or is my problem that ghc
shouldn't be trying to link with those files in the first place? I tried
searching on the web for information on those files, but I found very few
references, and those that I did find didn't mean anything to me.
Please let me know what I can do to use your system, or, if I've sent this
mail to the wrong place, a pointer to the person who may be able to help me.
Thanks,
Shaun
