FFI problems?

I just tried to compile this:

> module Fib where
> foreign export fib :: Int -> Int
> fib 0 = 1
> fib 1 = 1
> fib n = fib (n-1) + fib (n-2)

using GHC 4.08 under Linux,

> $ ghc -c Fib.hs -fglasgow-exts
>
> panic! (the `impossible' happened):

Can someone check whether this has been fixed in more recent versions
of the compiler?
