 separate ticket for ApplicativeDo. The remedies for parallel monad
 comprehension and ApplicativeDo seem very different. I'll create a new
 ticket for ApplicativeDo unless someone yells.

 FWIW, I certainly have no objections, apologies if I made a mistake in
 linking the issues in the first place.
