 There are a lot of ideas and moving parts here, so I think this would
 benefit from going through the [https://github.com/ghc-proposals/ghc-
 proposals GHC proposals process] for feedback. Once that is done and we
 have settled on a design, we can talk about what it would take to
 implement this (which is a different matter entirely).
