 I hope I didn't say that.  Perhaps "advised by" or "supported by" someone
 with more experience, but "controlled by" is so dis-empowering!  You are
 doing us a favour -- thank you -- keep going!  I and others will try to
 support you.

 Before investing a lot of effort in coding, it's best to lay out a plan
 (on a wiki page perhaps) with your goals, and the steps you propose to
 take to achieve those goals.
