 Thanks for investigating, Ben! `Data.List.Extra.split` is used in a few
 places for `FilePattern` matching in
 `Development.Shake.Internal.FilePattern`, so I'd say this is consistent
 with the rest of the profiling report. We do seem to spend a large part of
 the startup time on various string manipulation.
