This defect has completely broken my build on Ubuntu 18.04. I'm sure I'm
not the only one experiencing this, and as the new OS version gets more
adoption the problem will propagate as bgamari mentioned.
Can we prioritize a GHC-8.4.3 release? I really can't wait months for
GHC-8.6 to resolve this defect. I'm guessing there are others can't wait
that long either.
