Comment:

 This issue seems quite serious to me and it's actually encountered in the
 wild (see the related ticket). bgamari, can we milestone this for the next
 release?

 comment:29 says "correctness issue is resolved for now" but I don't see
 how. As far as I can see no commits were done for this ticket.
