 I had installed Haskell Core from the official site, assuming that the
 prerequisites (ghc, cabal-install, Alex, Happy, cpphs) would be
 accessible. However after manually installing cabal-install, alex, happy,
 and cpphs I now have a different error:

 {{{/Users/seth/Library/Haskell/bin/alex returned ExitFailure (-11)}}}

 attached is the second log file.
