Comment (by NeilMitchell):

 Passing {{{-fno-it}}} causes {{{()}}} to be printed to stdout vastly more
 often. Did this also break that bit? Looking at the section on GHCi Plans
 I note that the no-it branch is missing the {{{it::()}}} check in step A.
