 Note that this issue is addressed in #14300; the rationale for this issue
 is also discussed in ticket:14300#comment:5. In short, the issue is that
 the platform toolchain is buggy due to tiresome licensing issue. Note that
 GHC builds without any trouble on FreeBSD 11.
