 It seems that using `{-# ANN #-}` pragmas from a plugin cause GHC to crash
 when run with `-fexternal-interpreter` with
 {{{
 ghc: this operation requires -fno-external-interpreter
 }}}
 It seems that the culprit is likely the use of `wormhole` in
 `convertAnnotationWrapper`.
