 Given that both the ticket summary and comment:7 are really asking for a
 new flag and new behavior for `~`, I believe that this proposal falls
 within the scope of GHC's [[https://github.com/ghc-proposals/ghc-
 proposals|proposal process]]. Chrisdone, do you suppose you could submit a
 proposal?
