 Thanks for the bug report.

 I believe this is a duplicate of #13106, which has been fixed in GHC
 8.2.1. I don't know what `Num` type you're using here, so I can't confirm
 that it's fixed in 8.2.1 myself - please reopen if this issue persists in
 8.2.1.
