Comment (by rwbarton):

 A suggestion is for now to just turn `libraries/integer-gmp/gmp/tarball`
 into a submodule `gmp-tarballs.git`, so we can add the new GMP tarball to
 it, without permanently increasing the size of `ghc.git`.
