 I've attached `-dshow-passes` and `-s` profiles for both the tuples and
 "random" files. It looks like there's practically no difference in passes
 between old and new tuples, but there's a good bit more allocation.
 Differences are much more substantial in the random one, with code size
 going up quite a lot right after float out and the profile showing
 considerably higher residency.
