Comment:

 Once again, I agree with @snoyberg. The problem is that integer-gmp
 requires Cabal 2. The fact that `integer-gmp.cabal` did not match what was
 in the Git repository was a problem (and I'm glad that it's fixed), but
 all it did was make debugging harder.
