 The following comment is in `compiler/parser/Lexer.x`:
 > ToDo: ideally, → and ∷ should be "specials", so that they cannot
 > form part of a large operator.  This would let us have a better
 > syntax for kinds: ɑ∷*→* would be a legal kind signature. (maybe).
