 Thank you so much for making a reproducible test case -- I know it takes
 work to do that.

 There was a real bug, involving accidental name capture in the
 worker/wrapper pass.  It only occurred under very obscure circumstances,
 which is why it's so hard to reproduce.

 Patch coming.
