 @darchon could you share any further Brain dump / background / design
 references either here and or shoot me an email? I'm willing to carve out
 some work time this week to see if I can help get the ball rolling,  but
 I'd need at least a brain dump or light guidance. I'm not exactly familiar
 with linker shenanigans but I can probably get at least a skeleton of a
 patch together if you could orient me towards what pieces of ghc/cabal
 need tweaking and such.

 But i need a teeny bit of guidance to make sure it's a good jump start for
 you or such
