 Would also perhaps be worth considering adding a WordNative# and
 associated lifted sibling that is explicitly guaranteed to match native
 pointer / max addressable virtual memory? For ghc that would always been
 one of Word32 or Word64 sized, whichever is currently also called Word,
 but that's only a result of ghc specific rts and compilation strategy
 choices  rather than being part of the language standard. A large number
 of current libraries make that assumption in their data structure rep and
 it's not guaranteed to be true at all by any specification currently.
