 Oh ok, well, same deal.  When you enter a (dynamically allocated) function
 there's a register pointing to the function closure.  So the ticky code at
 the start of the function's code can bump the  count in `ClosurePtr[4]`
 (or whatever the appropriate offset is.  No?
