 I think so, yes. Shayan Najd is currently completing a Summer of Haskell
 project (https://summer.haskell.org/) in an attempt to combine haskell-
 src-exts, GHC's `HsSyn`, and the TH AST. Serializability is a
 consideration, and so this should all be OK.
