 That's odd.   I didn't test with containers, only with the test in
 comment:1.  In pinrciple I can try to look, but not over Christmas.
 Anything anyone can do to narrow it down to a repro case would be very
 helpful.

 No: Lint errors are alwyas GHC bugs.
