 Thankfully, Simon has fixed #12936, so now we can compile `parsec` on GHC
 HEAD without issue.

 Another interesting tidbit: when compiling with `-O -prof`, it exhibits
 slowdown, but with `-O -prof -fprof-auto`, it doesn't!
