 Hmm, very odd. This very much looks like a sphinx bug (one that is
 apparently already fixed in Debian Jessie). If you would like you can
 bring this up with the Sphinx folks otherwise the obvious workaround would
 be to simply disable building of the LaTeX version of the users guide (set
 `BUILD_SPHINX_HTML=NO`).
