 None of the modules from the base package appear in the documentation that
 shipped with the binary distribution.  I am looking at
 share/doc/ghc/html/libraries/index.html and no modules from base are in
 there.

 This is the binary distribution for 64-bit Linux that I downloaded from
 haskell.org, although I also had this same problem when I built rc3 from
 source using GHC 7.8 on Mac OS X.
