Comment:

 The examples from comment:45, comment:47 and comment:53 all compile on
 Linux with 7.8.4 and 7.10.1. The example from comment:34 still fails (run
 `cabal install vector-algorithms` first):

 Note that the `vector` package has received workarounds. See comments
