 @simon Thanks. I don't have time to work on a minimal example. As I
 mentioned extracting the cause of the problem already took hours. This is
 really nasty stuff and there's no quarantee I'll succeed.

 @rwbarton I already tried copying the definitions and produce an example
 that doesn't depend on CLaSH. Unfortunately, the example compiled fine. I
 mentioned this in a previous post.

 I'll look at `MonoLocalBinds` suggestion later.
